About Dr. Peer...

Dr. Peer is a native of Halifax County, Virginia.  He attended Halifax County Junior High School when it was located at the Mary Bethune Complex (prior to its renovation) and Halifax County High School the final year it was housed at the current middle school site (before the new high school opened).

A 1987 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Dr. Peer strongly believes in obtaining continuing education above and beyond Board recommendations.

Included in his post-graduate advanced training are the areas of TMJ, the Dawson and Pankey philosophies, cosmetic dentistry, and conscious sedation dentistry. Dr. Peer considers "satisfied, healthy patients to be my greatest asset."

Dr. Peer is active in the community spending his spare time as a leader in his local church, as well as refereeing soccer games for HCMS, HCHS, and other schools across the Southside.
